We had a great time today bringing 22 scouts, siblings and parents together to enjoy some fun in the sun at the Hites' swimming hole! We had scouts from all the dens so I was happy with the turnout! For those of you who weren't there, you definitely missed out! We hope to see you next time!

Scout Night at the Bay Bears!
Last Friday night, Pack 143 participated in "Scout Night at the Hank" and had a blast! We had almost 60 people in the stands and everyone had a great time. We stayed in our seats munching on hot dogs, nachos, peanuts and cokes until the fifth innning and then we marched out to Bay Bear Mountain! The boys had a great time sliding down the hill on cardboard boxes and even snow sleds! The twins in our den and their brother actually braved the water slide and ended up shivering the rest of the evening! We ended the night with a terrific Fireworks show! I think everyone that went had a fantastic time and we can't wait to do it again soon!

Leadership Meeting
On Sunday, May 17th the leadership of Pack 143 will meet to plan the future. We will set the calendar and begin the budgeting process. I hope that as we move forward we can work together to have a strong Pack that helps our scouts grow and learn.
I have always thought it's a good idea to publish goals, so that you can keep them clear in your mind. So here are my goals for the coming year.
1. Increase the flow of information between the leaders, scouts, school and parents
2. Develop a budget that creates growth that focuses on the future
3. Improve participation and recognition of the scouts
I am excited about the coming year.
